Yeah I'm guilty of being one of the Dummies out there who read this book and found it's approach to the subject much more informative than any of my high school teachers' lessons. A must read if you've ever had any trouble grasping the "higher maths" go back and read this book and you'll find advancement in math much easier indeed.

I am working my way through it and have found it to be valuable in relearning advanced algebra. Being over 50 years old, I have a hard time remembering my high school algebra. As other reviewers have commented, you must have a solid foundation in basic algebra for this book to be of value. As my children are now going through high school themselves, I definately needed a brush-up on my grasp of algebra to help them.
